All dogs need grooming, some just need more than others. Keeping your dog clean is one of the keys to having a happy, healthy dog.
Pets Plus, Inc. offers full service grooming for your dog, including bathing, trimming, nail clipping, ear cleaning, as well as expressing anal glands. We offer limited services for cats, birds, guinea pigs, ferrets and bunnies. Other miscellaneous services are available (see the grooming price guide on the reverse side).
Pets Plus, Inc. offers FURminator© shed-less treatments—a method designed for both long and short-haired pets that has proven to reduce shedding up to 60 to 80 percent after one or two treatments.
Your pet’s undercoat can become a dense mess of loose, dead hair—and the major source of shedding. The FURminator© treatment was developed to grab and remove—not cut, but remove—undercoat hair quickly and easily. Neither the specialized tool nor the process hurts your pet, an all-natural de-shedding shampoo and de-shedding solution are great for promoting a healthy coat and healthy skin on your pet.
TIP: Introduce your pet to the idea of grooming. Start early by teaching him to accept handling of all parts of his body including paws. Also, teach him the commands to stand and lie. This will help make the grooming process easier on him.
Hand stripping is available for wire or broken coated breeds.
Hand stripping is an old method used to prepare a dog for show. The dog’s hair is pulled down to the skin. This way the hair grows back flat against the dog’s body instead of curly.
